Find the creature a home!
Your team of researchers must find out information about each different biome and determine which would be the most suitable environment for Aeladil creatures you have created.
To understand a world biome, you need to know:
Therefore, in order to complete this task, you must assign:
1 Zoologist to act as the Animal Expert
Research animals local to each biome, including possible predators and prey
1 Botanist to act as the Plant Expert
Research plant life local to each biome, including possible sources of food and shelter
1 Meteorologist to act as the Climate Expert
Research local climate in each biome, including seasonal patterns in weather and temperature
1 Geologist to act as the Geography Expert
Research topography in each biome, including possible sources of shelter and barriers or facilitators of travel
All of you will act as Hazard Experts
Determine any possible threats to the Aeladil present in each biome based on the information you have collected
After you have completed your research, you must collaborate to decide in which biome you will relocate the Aeladils
List of Biomes
taiga (coniferous forest); tundra; tropical rain forest; desert; temperate grassland (prairie); savannah (also listed as grasslands on some sites); temperate deciduous forest; freshwater (lakes, rivers, or streams); ocean
To understand a world biome, you need to know:
- What the climate of the region is like.
- Where each biome is found and and what its geography is like.
- The special adaptations of the vegetation.
- The types of animals found in the biome and their physical and behavioral adaptations to their environment.

- Use PowerPoint to create a "Species Implementation Plan" that includes key features and characteristics of the biome you chose (including research from each of the "experts")
- Include a 1-page (typed) rationale that explains why you chose that particular biome to house the Aeladils
